who am I?

Born in the midwest and raised by the American south, I am the author of the poetry collection, bending toward the light. I came back to my love of writing after studying audio production and am now working towards an MA at Queen Mary, University of London. My work has been featured in EnbyLife, samfiftyfour, Roi Faineant, Ouch! Collective, Pile Press, Bullshit Lit, Querencia Press, and LSTW. I have also recently been awarded as the winner of Waxing and Waning’s Subversive Edition Contest in poetry.

My poetry leans heavily on analyzing the relationship between the self, one another, and the natural world; providing space to process trauma; and pressing toward intersectional equity.
